Four Seasons Dog Care, by Susan LaDue , (a published author) is a nifty little paperback that contains color photos and is a great idea as a stocking stuffer for the dog owners among your family and friends.

It, “Is a compact compilation of what you should think about, do, and watch out for as the seasons change,” Says LaDue. ” Enjoy it as an informative cover-to-cover read, or use it as a handy reference manual. It will help you and your dog make smooth transitions from each season to the next, so you can enjoy the opportunities that the changing weather brings.”

LaDue is certified by the Joint Pet Advisory Council as dog care specialist. She draws upon her practical experience with dogs from operating The Doggie Den, a dog daycare, grooming, and training facility.

This book is not meant to replace more comprehensive dog care books. What it does do is act as a primer for dog owners. It includes specific dog dos and don’ts for each of the four seasons that serve as handy reminders to humans.

In the forward of the book, LaDue reminds the reader that “For every dog owner and every dog breed there are ‘watch-outs’ and things to do that are specific to each season. If you know about them, life with the family dog becomes easier, safer and more fun.”

The combination of being a published author, dog lover and operator of the Doggie Den gives La Due the capability to write crisply and clearly about her subject, providing lots of information in an amazingly few pages.
